Candidate

We are looking for a highly organized and effective individual for a sales position within our company. You will be a resilient, resourceful, and innovative person with an analytical mind.

You will be able to ask open questions to identify motives and reasons, demonstrate a passion for win-win solutions, and investigate concerns of Partners to find their root cause.

Role

Key responsibilities include:

Continuous and proactive research to keep ahead of Industry, Technology, Market and Competitor trends
Define strategy for the assigned territory in line with the AFL HS EMEA Strategy
Identify and develop a Datacenter project pipeline in SalesForce.com (SFDC) sufficient to deliver the defined revenue target for territory in line with the AFL HS EMEA Strategy
Frequently (daily/weekly) work in collaboration with the Partner Account Manager (PAM) and Regional Account Development Manager (RADM) on identifying potential projects through the following means:
- Working with Installation Contractor sales personnel
- Working with Distribution partner sales personnel
- Working with Datacenter specific Technical/Engineering Consultants in the territory
- Working through all other aspects of the Datacenter Eco-System in the territory
Identify, build relationships, and add value with key Datacenter End User decision makers in order to become a ‘trusted advisor’ and gain strategic control
Progress projects through the project sales cycle as defined in SFDC all the way through to completion
Provide competitive input and collaborate effectively with DC Strategy Manager to ensure optimum balance between margin and project success
Rapidly respond (exceeding customer expectations or SLA) to all daily enquiries related to the progression of the project sales cycle and request support from Solution Engineering (SE) where necessary

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial role in the Datacenter infrastructure industry
Knowledge and clear understanding of fiber optic requirements of the Datacenter market
Understanding of key industry and technical trends in the territory
Fluent in German
Industry specific qualification (RCDD, CNIDP, CDCDP) (optional)
University or third level qualification (optional)
