We are currently hiring for a Design Engineer specialising in Outside Plant (OSP) products.
We are looking for innovative, analytical, and organized individuals who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative global team to develop market leading, innovative products to aid in achieving our strategy.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Developing market leading, innovative product
• Delivering New Product Development projects aligned with the customer or market expectations / deadlines
• Ensuring product performance and quality meets either internal or industry requirements
• A Mechanical Engineering degree is essential
• 2 years’ experience in design for the manufacture of plastics
• 2 years’ experience in design for the manufacture of sheet metal
• Experience in IP/NEMA rated product development would be desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Modelling and simulation studies within SolidWorks
• Able to create manufacturing drawings as per ISO Drawing Standards
• 25 days holiday

This role requires up to 20% of annual work hours to be spent between customer interactions (UK, Europe) and manufacturing locations (UK, Europe, APAC, and the US).
